COLUMBIA, S.C. – Bobbitt Design Build recently started an 110,000-square-foot renovation for the Market Point office of the S.C. Department of Revenue. The project is locatedon Bush River Road at Interstate 20 in Columbia.
Bobbitt teamed with the local developer to renovate the building’s interior and exterior, converting a retail facility into an office complex. The facility will be used as South Carolina’s Department of Revenue’s main office.
“We have a long running relationship with this developer and look forward to another successful project,” said Vic Englert, project developer for Bobbitt Design Build. “We worked with the client to meet their needs on construction timing and budget.”
Anticipated completion is third quarter of 2012.
