This 4,500-square-foot design build project is located at 1513 Brunswick Village Boulevard in Leland, N.C.
Bobbitt designed a vertical tower element to draw attention to the hospital, which is set back in the commercial area of Brunswick Forest off Highway 17. The tower also provides a unique architectural element to the building, while complementing the coastal surroundings.
The building’s design includes an open, well-lit, warm and inviting environment and is constructed with sustainable materials. The goal is to decrease the requirement for paper goods and increase energy efficiency. Separate cat and dog boarding areas overlooking a natural landscape though a full-glass wall, an outdoor play area with synthetic grass, and a separate bathing/grooming area are among the building’s features. In-house laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, a dental suite, and a surgery suite allow the veterinarians to make accurate diagnosis and tailor specific treatment for pets. http://brunswickforestvet.vetstreet.com/
