CIVIL ENGINEER
Job Description:
Bobbitt Design Build, Inc., is seeking a Civil Engineer for immediate full time employment with our office located in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the North Carolina market in commercial site planning. The Civil Engineer will direct projects from concept through final construction, while working in a true, integrated design-build environment.
Position Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Engineering Intern (EI) certificate
- PE license (preferred)
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Knowledge/experience with local municipalities
Responsibilities Include:
- Meet with clients, designers and project developers
to determine scope of project
- Develop site plans for client approval and determine
feasibility based on current ordinances
- Develop preliminary site plans as required for pricing
and based on adherence to current codes, zoning
and landscape ordinances
- Develop and revise production of clear and accurate
construction documents required for submittal
- Field questions posed by consultants or construction
personnel as necessary to expedite the construction
of projects
- Meet with appropriate agencies and citizens’ groups as
required to explain projects and receive approvals
