Bobbitt Design Build and Davis Kane Architects teamed up to provide a 2,886-square-foot facility for the town of Clayton to house Clayton Fire Station #2. Clayton Fire Department located on 800 NC 42 Highway East, includes an extended two-vehicle bay to house apparatus, a day room, sleeping quarters, a kitchen and an office.
The property of Station #2 covers five acres and is used in conjunction with the Town of Clayton Parks and Recreation Department. The area behind the station also serves as a temporary training location for specific fire/rescue training practicals.
