Hasentree Selected Bobbitt to Build Community Facilities
12/12/2007
RALEIGH, N.C. – Hasentree Corp., developers of Hasentree, have selected Bobbitt Design Build as the general contractor for its community facilities that will be ready well before the neighborhood is built out.
Bobbitt’s first project at Hasentree was the neighborhood’s signature Gate House in the fall of 2006. The structure serves as the guard house at the main entrance to the community.
The newly completed two-story, 3,500-square-foot Pro Shop will support the recently opened Tom Fazio golf course. The Golf Maintenance Building, which consists of two buildings totaling 14,000 square feet, will be completed by the end of this year.
Bobbitt is now in the construction phase on Hasentree’s 13,000-square-foot Family Activity Center, which will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pools, kids’ playground and six clay tennis courts. Completion is planned for May 2008.
"We have confidence that Bobbitt will do a fine job building amenities that will complement the Hasentree neighborhood and lifestyle," said Henry MacNair of Creedmoor Partners, whose company created the vision behind Hasentree.
Bobbitt was selected for its experience in building recreational facilities in high-end developments, along with its management expertise in working through the often daunting municipal planning and permitting processes required for community space. Small Kane Architects is the design partner for the projects.
“It’s unusual for the community infrastructure to be this far along before residents move into a development,” said Steven Peedin, vice president at Bobbitt Design Build. “Creedmoor Partners has a clear vision and commitment to the environment and quality of life that’s being created for future residents. We’re excited to be part of the team in making their vision a reality.”
Hasentree, a master planned community, is Raleigh’s only private residential community featuring a Fazio championship golf course. With a strong commitment to environmental excellence and stewardship, it is a registered member of the Audubon International Gold Signature Program.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Bobbitt Design Build recently fast-tracked and completed the new diesel engine truck service center for Gregory Poole Equipment Company, a long- standing Caterpillar dealer.
