Durant Station
The owner
is a longtime Bobbitt customer on various restoration jobs.
Durant Station was his first building as a developer, and he
wanted to honor local history by replicating the look of a historic
train station. Faced with challenging site issues, he enlisted
the talents of Bobbitt Design Build to create a space with infrastructure
for future expansion.
Our experience with flex-space
design and construction was key to success. We balanced the
owner’s wish list and his must-haves with the overall budget
to create a unique 27,000 sq. ft. flex development. Our intimate
knowledge of details, such as where to locate service troughs
and cutoffs for each tenant’s space, enables convenient fit-ups
as the development expands. Not to mention the worn-brick detailing
that the owner just couldn’t do without and still loves to this
day.
