Bobbitt Welcomes 2019 Summer Interns
RALEIGH, N.C. (July 1, 2019) – Bobbitt Design Build continues to grow its Summer Internship Program by hosting three college students this summer, all majoring in Construction Management. The company welcomes Ryan Stevens and Michael Russell to the North Carolina office and Manan Shah to the South Carolina office.
“Our goal is to provide these students with practical experience to build on what they have learned in the classroom and to further their professional development,” said company CFO Josh Menold. “We are excited to introduce our 2019 summer interns.”
Manan Shah is a graduate student at Clemson University and is completing his internship at Bobbitt’s South Carolina office. He is pursuing a Master’s in Construction Engineering and Management, graduating in summer 2020. His long-term career goals are to become a Project Manager and start his own company in real estate development.
Interning at Bobbitt’s North Carolina office, Ryan Stevens is a rising senior at East Carolina University. He will graduate in May 2020 with a degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration.
Michael Russell, also interning in the North Carolina office, is a rising senior at East Carolina University. He is majoring in Construction Management and will graduate in spring 2020.
Says Menold: “Through this internship program, we aim to introduce students to the transition from college to work and help inform their future career choices. Bobbitt is committed to fostering future generations of construction professionals.”
