Summit Charter High School

Summit Charter School, located in Cashiers, a small town in the western North Carolina mountains, is a school that once served only kindergarten through ninth grade students. After successfully completing the school’s gymnasium facility, Bobbitt was selected to build the 6,600-square-foot high school building that will serve 10th through 12th grades. A new addition to Summit’s existing campus, the building is designed to complement the aesthetics of the other buildings on campus. The new building is wood-framed construction and will house six standard classrooms plus a media and technology classroom as well as administrative offices.

Construction of the new addition was done while school was in session, with Bobbitt successfully securing the safety of everyone on site, particularly the students.
