Bobbitt Design Build completed The Learning Experience (TLE) in Cary, N.C., the second to be built by Bobbitt in North Carolina. The 12,000-square-foot facility is located on a 2.5-acre site on Leonard Christian Road at Davis Drive.

The child development center for infants through pre-schoolers has a capacity of 220 children. Unique features of the building include an indoor play area with playrooms (diner, general store, fire station and garage), ball pit, art counter and race track. The state-of-the-art facility has a bright and colorful atmosphere inspiring creativity and learning.

Bobbitt proved to be a flexible commercial construction general contractor and was able to adapt to changes in scope, while keeping budgets under control and staying on schedule. Bobbitt was selected for this project based on its experience with previous day care projects and a good track record with The Learning Experience location in Holly Springs.

The Learning Experience is the fastest growing child care operator in the Northeast and is expanding in the Southeast. It currently has over 150 units operating or under development.
