Christy started her 35-year career with the Department of Justice/SBI. Since joining Bobbitt in 1986, Christy has held a variety of positions including Contract Administrator, Accounts Payable, Benefits, Payroll, Safety Director, Risk Management and now Human Resources. Christy is a living example of her own philosophy: to build on the past with a forward-facing vision and growth mindset.
Ron’s 30-year career started while he was still in college doing chemical and environmental consulting. His clients were mainly small aerospace and military contractors that needed HAZMAT and environmental assistance with the changing safety laws of the 1980s. He was later drawn into the world of high rise construction and worked on projects throughout California, Washington, New York, Texas and Nevada. In addition to numerous high rises, Ron’s experience includes presidential libraries, hospitals, parks, airports and the mitigation efforts after the catasrophic Gulf Oil Spill in 2010. Finally settling in the Carolinas. Ron has never lost sight that safety is about people, not processes, and caring for each individual on the job, making sure they get to go home at the end of the day to see their loved ones. Ron is a member of the ANSI Standards Board, a member of the committee to develop the State Specific OSHA 10 Training for CalOSHA, an OSHA outreach trainer (BCSP CHST, STS) and a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Safety Committee.
As an 17-year construction industry veteran, Susannah has experience leading over $2.5 billion in project pursuits nationally. As the head of Bobbitt’s “creative branch,” Susannah’s responsibilities include advertising, pursuit strategy, communications and branding. Susannah believes that no matter what your age, gender, position or experience is–if you show up, listen and take ownership, you’re already ahead of 95% of the workforce. She has a Bachelor of Arts interdisciplinary degree in Graphic Design and English from Concord University.
After his military career as a Combat Engineering Officer with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Jim joined Bobbitt in 2002. Jim’s passion for creating places where people work, play, worship, heal and live has made him one of the most knowledgable design builders in the market. His many acheivements include winning TBJ’s 40 Under 40 Award and Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce Board Member of the Year. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University.
Tim’s 35 years of AEC industry experience includes owning and managing his own design-build company for 12 years. After selling his Design Build business, Tim worked for multiple large commercial general contractors doing private and public bid work, as well as private design-build work. Tim joined Bobbit in 2018 to join the Bobbitt team where his passion continues to be finding solutions to keep projects moving forward. His design build and construction experience includes churches, healthcare facilities, athletic and community facilites, schools, industrial buildings, correctional facilites and commercial.
Brian joined the Bobbitt Team in 2020 as the company’s youngest CEO to date. He has proven experience with over 17 years in construction and client development. He has a strong ability to drive new business, manage projects and mentor staff. Brian’s strengths range from execution on the operations side with a deep understanding of the importance of building strong relationships, to delivering outstanding customer service and knowing how to build proﬁt.
Success for him is built with a “get it done” attitude and “do whatever it takes” mentality. That leadership mentality was proven early during Brian’s lifelong commitment to team sports, specifically collegiate level baseball where he played for four years. Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Administration from Mount St. Mary College.
Chuck started his AEC career at a civil engineering firm before starting his own construction company. After eight years, Chuck sold his share of the business and joined the Bobbitt team in 1992. During his 36-year career in construction, Chuck knows that a good General Contractor is only as good as its subcontractors. Chuck is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), has a General Contractor’s license in North and South Carolina and has an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering from Wake Technical Community College.
